1989 mercury cougar dies?
battery fully charged and starts really good. the I drive and the car drains the battery completely till I stall.tested alternater and it passed. so where do I go from there? what is the problem I am looking for,please respond soon need my car,thanks joyce

Good answer. Be sure to buy the felt pads that go over the battery terminals & put the anti corrosion gel on the terminals too. Next time you need a battery, don't buy the cheap ones. Get one with an 8 yr warranty. After 3 yrs they pro rate a replacement. It will save you money in the long run.
