I just got myself a used volvo s70 with 128K miles. The day after buying it, it started having trouble starting. It sometimes wont start until the 2nd or third try. I did some research and found that it may be a problem with my fuel system (either a pump or relay)? what happens is i try to start the car, and itll either turn over, start and then die right away or itll keep trying to turn over n wont start at all. but once it starts, it runs no problem. after reading ppl's responses, it appearently gets worse by stalling when you drive. what should i do about this situation? is this expensive to fix?

Relays are 10-20$ buy it first. There are also several other things that can cause this. Fuel filters, injectors, spark plugs, plug wires. Wiring to the pump have short. The pumps are in the tank which require you to drop the tank and replace.
Maybe the "water temp" sensor.the ECU (electronic control unit) may sense the engine is warm, even though the engine is cold..if it's stalling after warm, u may also have oxygen sensor problems..you may have more than one on your vehicle..with that many miles you may want to have a checkup done..
