Financially, I can understand the attraction of the Trailblazer. Older vehicles are cheaper to insure, register, etc. But what will you be left with in 2 years after the payments are done?
In my opinion, you will be much better off with the newer lower mileage vehicle.
I believe it is a supurior vehicle as well. The GM is an inefficient inline 6. The Jeep has a pretty good v6. The Jeep is fairly capable off road. The Trailblazer is not as good off road.
out of the two the Jeep (Chrysler) obviously has the higher current value, but I would never even consider a 6 year obligation on a vehicle with high mileage and already 3 years old. This vehicle should only list at $15K max.
The Trailblazer (Chevy/Government Motors) should only list at $7K. but it is a bit larger vehicle. With the 111,000 miles you can be assured of maintenance issues coming up before you complete the payoff.
But the final choice (same as the payments) is all yours. Pick the one you think best meets your lifestyle and budget.
I know 2 different people who owned trailblazers. One had to put 2 transmissions and 1 engine into the trailblazer and it only had 120k miles on it when they got rid of it! The other had to put 1 engine into it. So, I wouldn't recommend a trailblazer!

The GM may be better for towing.
Good luck either way!
