Yes, it is normal. It's partly due to the nursing, but it's also probably a lot due to your hormones adjusting now that the baby has been born. It should calm soon.
Meanwhile, continue breastfeeding, and just watch your weight. If you're losing a lot of weight quickly, then you know you're likely burning more than the average 500 calories by breastfeeding.
If you're gaining, then you need to try to curb your appetite some. You can try eating 6 small meals a day rather than 3 big ones, if that helps. Try keeping healthy snacks around. Fruit is a great snack. It's low in calories, but has fiber and natural sugars.
i think of Ur in simple terms bodily and mentally exhausted. i became crying n depressed for a month and all started feeling greater helpful later. If Ur breastfeed u could desire to consume greater helpful. Get Ur significant different or family members to get u stuff u extremely savour. Ur urge for nutrition ought to be simply by hormonal variations too. Iron ranges ought to be low. A docs circulate to quicker quite than later will help!!!
I can't seem to eat enough when I'm PP!! If you're pumping a lot, then that is requiring additional calories.
I try to load up on foods that are good for me (carrots, nuts, apples, etc.) and good for my supply (oatmeal).
It does subside, I promise. :-)
