39 weeks 3 days...... How much longer!!?
I am 39 weeks 3 days pregnant and have been having contractions for the past couple days. Nothing consistent enough to time however. As of saturday I was 80% effaced but not dilated at all.
Anyone ever been not dilated at all and go into labor shortly after? Or did you end up going a couple weeks longer??

I had an OB appt on Thursday and was just fine for 36 weeks....next appt made for the following Thursday (seven days). The next Sunday evening (three days), I went to the hospital with a 'funny feeling' and I was 100% effaced, completely dilated and my daughter was born within the hour after arrival....neither my midwife nor my lamaze partner got there in time for the birth and it took three days for my husband to arrive from his military post in Greenland after being told on Thursday that we still had a month to wait.
So, it could be any moment.....I hope you will have a very easy and rapid birth....and that your baby will be healthy and robust. GOOD LUCK
