I had twins 6 months ago and I'm 203 pounds at 5"6 just started going to the gym, the only thing I know how to use is the treadmill and the highest I can set it at is 3.7... and I just walk and do the stair stepper thing...I'm so discouraged I have a bottle of prescription Phentermine but I'm scared to take it after everything I read. But I'm only 22 and shouldn't look like this I was also considering just getting a tummy tuck and liposuction to fix the wrinkles and stretched skin because its just soooo ugly. I've never weighed so much in my life HELP.

Forget the pills (are you breast feeding?). You need to attack this from a different angle. I HIGHLY recommend you start weight training. It might seem counter intuitive, but lifting weights will help you build lean muscle mass and therefore increase your metabolism/the amount of calories you burn at rest. It will also make you stronger and leaner. Finally, it will help you gain speed on the treadmill (stronger legs/glutes = more power = faster run).
What does your diet look like?
Phentermine does work if you continue with your diet program. If it was prescribed for you, the doctor made sure that you are a suitable candidate. If a friend handed you the bottle, it's quite possible that you aren't an appropriate candidate.
Dieting is not a sprint. Slow and steady wins the race. You don't have to run on the treadmill. Just keep walking. If you can find a walking buddy, then it becomes a half hour gab-session instead of 30 long minutes of exercise.
Ask your doctor to refer you to a dietician/nutritionist. This will help you review what you're eating and work out a diet plan that works for you.
You will get there. Slow and stead wins the race.
The stretched skin probably won't go back on its own as stomach skin is not all that flexible. Perhaps go for a consult with a surgeon see what they can do. The liposuction techniques they have are pretty good. Can be done as a day procedure. At the gym it definately pays to get a trainer at least for 10 sessions so you can learn to exercise on more than just the treadmill. Also group classes such as spin or aerobics may be good for you. I know my gym has some classes for women and pregnant women as they have a poster for it. Maybe your gym has the same.
Ok first relax. There is plenty of things besides the treadmill and that stepper thingy. Try doing sit-ups that will help tone your stomach also try running a mile every morning and make the run longer everytime. Eat foods high in carbs like pasta patatoes and anything with grain. Lay off junk foods like i dont know peach cobbler trust me i learned the hard way with that. Back to you though if you have will power and willing to give 110% on losing weight I know youll make it have a good day :) hope this helped.
If you breast feed, weight will just fall off.
It's hard to lose after babies but you can.
A good food plan would be:
Breakfast: low fat milk on cooked 9-grain cereal (buy it in bulk from health food store), mixed with cooked oatmeal and wheat bran. Add some nuts, raisins, craisins and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine.
Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts and yogurt w/fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham or beef stew.
Snacks: Fresh fruit (banana, orange, apple, kiwi, grapes, peach, nectarine,
cherries, pineapple..)
Dinner: Big caesar salad with white meat chicken, tomatoes, olives, 3 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded cheese, shredded or sliced carrots and zucchini, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...
Instead of salad dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it or some lemon juice or mash some avocado with tomato juice.
Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes. Top w/cheese.
Foods to avoid: pastries, desserts, sugar, salty foods, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, pork (wieners, chops, bacon), potatoes, white bread, rice, pasta, canned veggies, ice cream, oily foods, soda, coffee...And of course no tobacco or alcohol in any form. Both of those add wrinkles and destroy your organs. No oil except olive and mac nut.
To keep your skin clear, drink water. Veg. juice is good too. But not canned juice (too much sugar.)
Join a gym; they have all the equipment there and ask the staff to show you how to use it.
When you join, they're supposed to set up a plan for you and work with you on it.
Much cheaper than buying your own equipment.
If you lack energy to exercise, take Stress B vitamins.
To lose weight, try SENSA.
losing weight is 95% diet. 5% exercise
