7 Weeks pregnant with light pink/brownish discharge.....?
I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my first. While at work today, I notice a weird cramping like a bowl movement/gassy bloat. When I went to the bathroom, I notice when I wiped that it was a very light discharge kind of pink/brownish. It was very light in color. I'm a little concerned about that since I was experiencing a slight cramp....nothing too intense. My next Dr. appointment won't be until 2 weeks from now. Has anyone experienced the same?? Should I just run my *** to the ER instead. I don't want to brush it off and turns out to be a threatened miscarriage.......Need some good insight. Thanks!!

im pretty sure this is normal.... as long as the spotting wasnt bright red with major cramps then im sure you are fine! i mean i would still say it to the dr but i woulndt be freaking out! or you could even call the dr office and ask the question! they should bable to give you good advise!

Brownish Discharge
Same thing happened to me at about the same time in the pregnancy.... I did end up going to the ER. They did an U/S and didn't necessarily find anything wrong but said if I start bleeding or spotting again, to come back and they sent me home. The next day I was fine w/o bleeding at all, still cramping. the following day I began bleeding heavily, went back to the ER and had a miscarriage. You should go to the ER, not becaus eI think that is what is happening but to make sure it's not a Tubal/Ectopic. Mine was not but that is what they mainly checked for. They also did tell me that a lot of women spot early on so that's all it may be.
If you have cramping along with a pink discharge you should definitely tell your doctor straight away. I had a miscarriage last year and it started as brown discharge, followed by pink-red and the cramping didn't come until almost two weeks after the brown discharge. When I first told my doctor he thought it was nothing as I had no cramping and no "new blood" (red) and I didn't get a scan until the discharge turned red - which is when they said it could be serious... the scan confirmed that I was miscarrying. As you are already spotting red and have cramps, please ask to be checked out asap just to be safe.

I would go the the ER. I had brown spotting with my last pregnancy when I was 9 weeks and then 1 week later I had a miscarriage. It could be nothing but better to get checked out. Good luck.
I would go to the ER i had this kind of discharge without cramping and was in the first stages of miscarriage. Try to keep calm and get it checked you may end up being fine.

pinkish brown discharges are not normal infact it is gross! go to the ER.
