87 pathfinder 4x4 trans in a 95 pathfinder 4x2.?

I need the trans for my 95 pathfinder 4x2 but only vehicle I can find with a manual trans is a 87 pathfinder 4x4. Can I just remove the transfer case and use the trans with the driveline from the 95 both are manual trans and 3.0 l v6. Also would the 87 have hydraulic clutch as well

no pathfinder are junk i had one and a couple people i knew had them and we all had problems and there expensive to fix
