Adriana is definitely my favorite. Carriana and Susiana feel made up and not as classy as Juliana and Elliana. Susiana will probably be mistaken for Susanna. Kristiana is too close to Christian, although Kristie, Julie, and Ellie sound cute together. Adriana sounds great with Juliana and Elliana. They all sound Italian. And Addie is the perfect nicknames

Other -iana names:

-Viviana (I LOVE the nickname Vivie. I think it's the best nickname ever! I like Julie, Ellie, and Vivie)

-Luciana (nn Lucy/Lucie)

-Emiliana (nn Emmy or Millie. This is a great name if she wants to name her after you! :) But I think it's different enough from your name, especially if pronounced uh-meel-ee-ah-nuh and she's nicknamed Millie)

-Gianna (nn Gigi)

-Georgiana (pronounced jor-jee-AH-nuh,or jor-jane-uh, nn Gigi or Georgie)

-Oriana (Pretty, but I can't think of a good nickname for it, maybe Ori? It sounds weird though)

-Feliciana (Nickname Leesy or Lissie?)

-Sylviana (nn Sylvie. I always thought this was made up, but I found it on babynamesworld.com. I find it very pretty, and definitely one to consider if your friend doesn't mind "creation" names)

Kristiana is the feminine variant of Christian. I think the "-ana" theme is already matchy enough, that using the feminine variant of Christian would be going way over the top.

I think Adriana is the most decent one of the four. It's very elegant, and works with the names she has there. Ethan, Christian, Gavin, Juliana, Elliana, and Adriana - perfect! She could also use the nickname "Addie" - Julie, Ellie, and Addie.

Hm. Well, I love Juliana and Ethan (for obvious reasons). Gavin is on my hate list, and I'm not a fan of Christian or Elliana, though Elliana isn't the worst name I've ever heard.

Susiana - I'd go with Susanna before Susiana. Is she continuing the "ana" pattern or the "iana" pattern?

Carriana - train wreck!

Adriana - seems more like a legitimate name.

I've been thinking that it's so easy to sit here and pick everything apart and try to rationalize it, but when it comes down to it, people just pick the names they like. Of those four choices, I don't actually like any, so picking one is pretty hard.

Other "-iana" names:

Ariana - I like this one

Liliana - probably too close to Eliana, as are Lily and Ellie too close

Mariana - probably my favorite!

Tatiana - too exotic for her, maybe, though I think it's awesome

Luciana - sweet

Viviana - interesting, but seems made up, though it did chart in 2008

I wouldn't do Kristiana since she has a son named Christian. Susiana sounds silly, although I do love the nn Suzie. Carriana sounds silly as well - Corrina would probably be better, although it doesn't fit her pattern. (Maybe .. Coriana? Not sure about that one though.) Adriana is pretty.

I'm not sure I care much for those names ending in -iana, but I like Tristiana. Out of the ones she's considering though I like Adriana, and that's what I would pick.

Out of her names I would choose Kristiana.

What about Ariana and call her "Ari"(r-e) That would be cute!
