What are some good reasons why the public school system should be gone. Why should it entirely be given over to private sector and free enterprise? Please give my a lot of sources and facts!
I am not going to list sources, you need to do your own work. But, the facts to start with are simple.
The private sector does everything more efficiently than the public sector does. This is seen in everything from prisons to military operations. Additionally, the public school system is dominated by the teacher's unions, and that forces school to allow substandard teachers to continue to teach.
This is the third homework question that I have read this evening. I attended Public school for 12 years and then a University. I am for Public Schools.
Although I do agree with you. My local public school system spends over $8,000/kid.
Considering I send my children to private Catholic school for $3,000/kid, it makes one wonder where on earth the government schools are spending the dough!
Nobody's against education - just prove to us that we're getting our money's worth!
Won't happen. You can't force people to send their kids and pay for it too. On the other hand stupid kids who only want to screw off in class can be kicked out and not bother those of up who want to actually learn.
