So here's the story http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApSZp...
Well I assume he's around 2-3 weeks old (probably 2 weeks old) because he can walk but still wobbly. And he's eyes are completely open so yeah. My question is, what should I feed him? I feed him milk currently (not replacement milk that bought in a pet store) just regular milk. And I know I can't feed him that for so long cause he's lactose intolerant so what do I feed him? Should I buy KMR? Cause I found some kittens got diarrhea after drink the KMR. And how much should I feed him per 2-3 hours? I use eyedropper as a bottle. And he's crying most of time (well not really, usually 3 minutes after I fed him he's stop) please tell what I need to do. Thanks.

You definitely need to get some KMR. Cow's milk will give the little guy diarrhea. You can also get a pet bottle at the same time, which is better than an eyedropper. You want the cat to suck the nipple, not to have the food squeezed into him, because he might aspirate it. Feed him as much as he wants every 2-3 hours around the clock, and then burp him. You can begin to offer soft (canned) kitten food in about 2 weeks.
He can't pee or poop on his own, so you will need to stimulate him with a warm wet washcloth. After you feed him gently rub all his boy parts with the wash cloth until he pees. He probably won't poop right away if he hasn't been fed recently, and 2-3 weekers don't always poop every day anyway. Once he's fed regularly he should have a normal stool at least once a day.
If he's covered in kitten milk after a feeding, use a fresh, damp washcloth (NO BABY SHAMPOO!!) to wipe all the milk off. Make sure he is completely dry before you put him down. You need to keep him warm with a heating pad or a microwave pet disc underneath his blanket or bed.
He will need to see the vet as soon as possible, just to be checked out for parasites, etc.
If you don't feel up to the task (it's tough getting up every 2 hours every night) or are simply unable to be home 24x7 to tend to the little guy's every need, then call your local shelter in the morning and ask them to find a foster parent for him. Most shelters have foster parents on speed dial!
My brother found two kittens about three weeks old as well, about a month ago. We bought kitten formula for them at Petco, but I assume it's easily found at walmart or something. We also bought a tiny kitten bottle to bottle feed them.
I'm not entirely sure what brand we use now, but we had to switch brands because some kittens just don't get their nutrition from KMR. We ended up loosing one of the kittens.
There is also a recipe I could give you for home made kitten formula. I don't think it's recommended to feed kittens normal milk as they need different vitamins than we do. I'd have to ask my brother for the recipe though. We didn't feed them 2-3 hours, we probably fed them every 4-6 hours-- only when they seemed hungry. They each got fed about a tablespoon, more or less.
In a few short weeks your kitten will likely start eating on it's own. I used a shallow bowl to warm the milk in and they got the hang of eating from there pretty quickly. Yes, I'm sure he'll make a bit of a mess but nothing a quick bath can't fix. (Lukewarm water, and baby shampoo) To get him to understand what is in the bowl, gently dip his mouth into the milk so he knows where it's coming from.
Our kittens cried a lot as well, but after getting fed or warmed up there were fine. Make sure he's in a warm enviornment because kittens that young don't retain body heat very well.
I hope this helped and your kitten is fine :) although we sadly lost one, Sassy (the other kitten) is doing just fine at 8 weeks old now. She isn't wobbly when she walks anymore, and she's super playful and adorable. I wish the same for you!
You have some good answers here. Don't put him back where you found him because he will probably die or be killed. Continue feeding him about every 2-3 hours. Keep him warm and comfortable. When you put him down to sleep place a small stuffed animal or rolled up piece of clothing with him. It also helps if there is a ticking clock near him. It helps him feel like he is near his mom or at least a sibling. I would give him the pet milk replacement. Walmart sells it for about $10. It is powdered and you mix it with water. Follow the instructions so it won't be too concentrated or too thin. If he starts thriving, it is ok to add a little tuna or other mild soft food to his diet. It takes alot of time and responsibility. It is worth it. But, if it is too much for you to continue, please take him to a vet or shelter who can give him the proper care until he is old enough to be adopted out.
You can probably call a close friend/ family member that lives near by and ask them if they could go out and buy some kitten formula milk stuff at a local pet store for you [since you said you don't have the money to go out and buy stuff]. PLEASE...I'm begging you...don't take her to a shelter!! They put them to sleep if they don't find a home right away. And usually they don't have a lot of human contact [in others words, the kitty won't have a fun life]. Maybe place an ad in the paper or put up signs to sell/give away the kitty. If that doesn't work, talk to close family members and friends about taking the cat so you won't be worried that the new owners aren't taking good care of her. Hope she finds a good home!
We found a 3 month old kitten about a year or two ago. He still had his eyes closed when we found him. So anyway, we took some powdered milk formula that we bought from the store, added some water and gave it to him. I'm not sure what the name of it was, though. It took a little while to get him off of it, but not too long. After we got him off of the powdered milk we started giving him soft food, moist food along with the cat food he needs to grow. He is still eating the soft food. He loves the soft food, but my cat is also picky so he will only eat the dry cat food if it is fresh.
From what I learned, the best thing to give a kitten that age is powdered milk formula at first. Then when he gets a little older then give him soft food and dry food. That's what I learned anyway. Hope this helps.
You absolutely need the replacement milk (Walmart carries it). They feed every 2 hours for the first six to seven weeks and need to be kept warm. You are a wonderful person for taking in this little angel.
I would consult a veternarian or get the kitty into a rescue where they can give it the proper care and time. because if you choose to foster/keep it you will have 2 get up like every 3 hrs to feed him! it takes alot of time care and $. if you not sure on what to do consult a experienced person.
do not give the kitten people milk.go to the pet store or vet and get kitten milk for kittens.he is a baby he needs to be fed alot.if u dont know what to do,take him to a rescue where they will know how to care for him.or put him back where u found him and momma will come looking for him
go to pet store and buy milk or find a nursing cat that might take it in, you should feed it every hour.
dont use kmr use hartz or lactaid milk.
