Added 2nd NIC and DSL speed drops?
i've added a lan card in my pc to share my dsl connection on top of my built-in lan port. but since then my speed has been so slow even if the other pc is disconnected or shutdown. any ideas?

When you say share connection, what do you mean exactly? Share with another PC? Cause if that is what you mean, I have the feeling that the problem is related to 2 PCs being in the same collision/broadcast domain. Routers break up broadcast domains, switches break up collision domains. Usually the best answer to this kind of issue is to have a router with switch ports, which are pretty easy to find. Again, this is all guessing, since I don't know your situation completely yet.
