He still will be your father. If you love him and you both get along continue seeing him. Someday you may want him to walk you down the aisle at your wedding(assuming you're female). This may be awkward if you haven't seen or talked to him in five or ten years. Just because your mother and father are not together doesn't mean you need to seperate yourself from one or the other.

Visitation privaleges expire when your 18. Now it's your choice not the courts. If you both live in the same town see him once a week at a minimum. If you don't, try to see him every two and call him on the off weekends.

You can stop by for dinner once or twice a week then go home, you don't always have to stay for the weekend.

Whatever you do try to keep both your parents in your life because someday when your older and wiser you may wish you had spent more time with him(them).

Depending on the laws of your state, I think the visitation is void once you turn 18 as you would legally be an adult. Once you are 18, you can decide for yourself if you want to keep up with the visitation. Your dad knows you are going to grow up and start making your own decisions soon anyway, so don't worry about him.

What difference does 16 or 18 make? If you like visiting your dad - your age has nothing to do with it. If you like living with your mom, age has nothing to do with it either. You have a future in front of you and I suggest you focus on getting a good one.
