Eastern Samoa, or American Samoa has recently been called the Genetic Sports lottery winners for what reason? According to American stats, American Samoans are 40 times more likely to become pro Football players than Non-Samoans. This is in American style Football, not the little girls game of Soccer that the U.K. plays and calls it Football.

Doesn't surprise me.. What do they have to do on the Island play football, surf and twirl fire sticks.... Lol......
Yes it's true..
Eastern Samoa or American Samoa is in fact a sports phenomenon, maybe even more so than Western Samoa [larger population] who is dominating on the entire Northern Rugby Hemisphere [The U.K. region], and plays with The All Blacks.
The All Blacks of Aotearoa - New Zealand is the number one ranked Rugby Team in the entire world. The All Blacks have been called "Manu Samoa 2", because of how many Samoans play on the team. The Asia Pacific is known as the "Southern Rugby Hemisphere".
British or U.K. media call for some reason the sport of Soccer after Football, and American Samoa has been a sports media target by U.K. and Australia media at times, because of the Samoan and Tongan take-over of most every other sport.
Soccer is "not" a sport in American Samoa much. So British media pretty much targeted the only thing they could about American Samoa, which is Soccer, which is considered a girls game at best in both America and American Samoa [also Eastern Samoa]. It is a fact that Soccer is not a favored sport in America, and often called a sport of "South" America. Football [American Style] in America is a game of Giants [including other talents].
New weight divisions were even put forth in Rugby to help smaller players be able to develop in Rugby, because of the over powering number of Samoan and Tongan talents. After players like Jonah Lomu and Alesana Tuilagi, a Rugby team without a Samoan, Tongan or "Fijian" influence on it, is "bet to lose".
Please feel free to check media resources and research your own. Thank you.
Yeah, no kidding.
Lots of Samoans/Tongans here in SoCal; they're all big. Troy Polamalu, at 5'10", is the shortest Samoan I've ever sen.
What makes you think being born British is like winning the genetic lottery????? LOL.
Actually, a player's chances of playing college football depend on his/her performance in football during his/her senior year of high school, NOT his/her ethnicity. If a player performs very well in football during his/her senior year of high school, he/she will greatly improve his/her chances of getting recruited to play for a college football program.
In turn, a player's chances of playing in the NFL depend on his/her performance during his/her college football career. If a player performs very well in football during his/her college years, he/she will greatly improve his/her chances of getting drafted to play for an NFL team.
