I'm in charge of the games and entertainment for my daughters Easter party. I've got some ideas but I would appreciate some more. She's in first grade. Thank
You could make a little bingo game, and use jelly beans for markers! You can use regular bingo cards, or print some from the internet somewhere, like the link below. Or make up your own. 1st graders have learned to count to 100 by now, so they love bingo games.
Put some Hershey Kisses or chocolate chips in a plastic bag and attach the
following poem:
This cute little bunny has hopped all day
Been delivering baskets for the holiday.
His paws are so tired and his little nose itches.
He left you something special - something to fill all your wishes.
These cute little hugs and Easter kisses.
Put 1 Pound Jelly Beans into a bag, and attach this poem:
RED is for the blood He gave.
GREEN is for the grass He made.
YELLOW is for the sun so bright.
ORANGE is for the edge of night.
BLACK is for the sins we made.
WHITE is for the grace he gave.
PURPLE is for His hour of sorrow.
PINK is for our new tomorrow.
A bag full of jelly beans colorful and sweet,
Is a prayer, is a promise, is a special treat.
Easter Carrot Treats:
Buy disposable plastic decorating bags and fill them with orange jellybeans
or cheese balls.
Then stick some green Easter grass in the top of the bag (leave some hanging
out) and secure the bag with a rubber band and then ribbon so that it
resembles a carrot.
Game; someone wrote ; in plastic easter eggs put a note to do something as opposed to candy inside; like hop on one foot ; give your mother a hug etc etc
My son's day care made bunnies out of milk jugs-cut a hole to fill it with goodies, glue on pipe cleaner wiskers, pompom nose, eyes (all of this is easy to get at a craft store), and in the top cut two slits to put in pink construction paper ears. The opening should be opposite the handle of the jug. The kids can put this together. The day care put in a bit of grass and all the parents sent items to go inside it-my son loves his "rapit". Fun and uses recycled and low cost items. Have a great time!
Christians do no longer rejoice the crucifixion at Easter. We rejoice the resurrection while Jesus arose from the ineffective. He grew to grow to be the 1st of many whose spirit would be united with a glorified physique while Jesus returns for His church.

Of course, an easter egg hunt. Musical chairs. Bunny wrap. picture taking, done by kids.
