So i'm 15 and heading out to see District 9 with my dad, I'm really really sensitive to awkward scenes with any sexuality while i'm sitting next to him.

I just looked at Yahoo movies and they said this: MPAA Rating: R for bloody violence and pervasive language. Personally I wouldn't take my son and he's 14. I might wait for video on that one. I find there's a bigger impact when seeing something on the big screen with surround sound, etc.

LOL. No. D9 was a frickin' awesome movie. There was no sexuality whatsoever. There was one part that (I won't ruin it for you) it looked vaguely like sex, but was blurred out. No worries. There won't be anything awkward unless your dad is afraid of major swearing. Have fun!

so...no not really. have fun, the first 20-30 minutes are kind of boring, and dry, but stay with it, the movie gets better.
