My problem is.......I did not find one right word that make sense to translate the German Word "Kegel"...... This world can not be 'Cone' because does not make sense. A person is going to a party with a child and who else?????
Would you know what means the world Kegel in German that makes sense in the context below???? Thank you again and nice dreams to everyone !!!!

'mit Kind und Kegel' means that everybody in the Family is invited.
Translated into English it would be =
with bag and baggage or with kith and kin
Note: It has absolutely nothing to do with children out of wedlock!
Sounds like a response to an invitation, and that your wife and children are also coming. I can only interpret "Kegel" as a way of saying a "wife" or "significant other", which is verified by the following link.
Kegel in this context is an old German word for a child out of wedlock. So when you come with Kind and Kegel, you come with all of your offspring, all of your legal and illegal relatives.
