Ever since I bought my new HP Pavilion Slimline S5-1260 desktop a year ago I've been having the same audio problems. When I start or unpause a: DVD, Audio/Video streaming on the Internet, or Audio/Video file saved on my computer I lose the first 2 seconds of the audio only. I have my 47" Vizio FHDTV connected to my desktop with an HDMI cable. I started off with Windows 7 and recently installed Windows 8 which did not help.
How do I go about correcting this?
