Dear HR professionals,
I have been offered an absolutely amazing graduate position at a large multinational company, depending on the outcome of a background check.
However, I have an issue that could or could not be a huge problem in getting hired, this is what I would like to find out.
This job requires a degree, any degree actually, as long as it is a degree.
So I put down a BSc in my CV, with the graduation year of 2013. But I actually failed one module that year and I could not graduate, so I finished that one outstanding module this year and I am cleared to Graduate, depending on the exam boards final ratification of course. This degree is also an add on degree, so I already have a BA from 2012.
My question is:
As a HR professional, how are you looking at this situation?
Is this considered Ok, or a fraud?
I mean technically I did not lie, but distorted some facts(I am not proud of it and I should not have , as a matter of fact I can barely exist under the weight of them finding out and possibly not employing me ), I do have a BA, and the Bsc on the way.
Please only HR professionals, or people with the necessary insight answer, I thank you in advance for your advice.

In my opinion you should continue with this opportunity, if questioned you pose it as a 'clerical error'.
You could say a 'mistake' was made, by the time they 'check it out, investigate', you'll likely have your other degree so it will no longer matter.
