I've been a believer for 15 years. I'm well aware of what God can do, ANYTHING. However, I'm in the middle for a storm that has been going on for a year. Last year April, I resigned from my job of 6 years because my son came down with ADHD, and was nolonger functioning at soon. My plan was to spend the summer with him, and return to the workforce August when he went back to school. When I steped out on faith, I just knew everything was gonna go as planned. You can't fail with faith and knowing your God can do anything. Well here we are March 28, still no job and behind on every bill. Jesus, where are you??? I'm so heart broken right now because my household is nolonger functioning due to no income. I'm not able to buy my son a tablet from the dollar store, and our water has been turned off. Jesus where are you? I've applied for 150 jobs since summer, and nothing. I've even applied for a housekeeping job, nothing. The last thing I want is for a non-believer to see this and think the devil wins. I know this situation can turn around at the drop of a dime. I need the victory in this situation for the sake of my son and for God to get the glory. Again, Jesus, where are you?

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
9 Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. 10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. 11 For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.
12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
Jesus helps those who help themselves..Are you making a true effort to find a job..Jesus did not make u go in debt..you did that..Where is ur son's father Is he not helping u..I am sorry for ur pain and I know it is very difficult to care for a child with adhd..sometimes we have to take jobs we don't want for example burger king or hardees...Have u asked ur church family for some help..I think sometime we pray for something and keep on praying and to me if u ask once he hears you and to keep asking again and again would seem like one does not have faith in that one keeps asking over and over would indicate that doubt is in the equation...when u quit ur job did u have any income..was there an alternative..God does answer prayers but he expects us to do our part...
God gave us a free will...that is where we get into trouble..
Learn to write a resume that grabs the employer's attention. It shouldn't be run-of-the-mill and it should be accurate. Try a new style. Have you tried a video podcast on youtube? Just send them a link. All you need is a camcorder and creativity.
You fail to mention the domain in which you plan to get employed in. If it is high-end, try to figure out what sort of work is expected of you before you even get out of your door for the interview. Call them and ask what sort of a person would be the right fit for the job. Do your homework.
At the interview, ask around to get a feel for the culture of the place. Play to your strengths and admit to a couple of "really weak" weaknesses. Then turn them around to show that your weaknesses can actually be turned into strengths with a little effort.
Unless you are blacklisted in the industry, you should get their attention.
firstly hang in there friend. some time god allows us to go through challenging times to test our faith, keep praying and looking to jesus after all he said i am with you Always even to the end of the age. and its probably the old devil stirring you up. he's good at that.
Hold in there, God works in mysterious ways.
Millions of starving Africans and you think God cares about your getting a job after your dumb *** quits. Nice. It's all about you, isn't it?
Was it God's will that you resign or was it yours and you expect God to enforce YOUR will?
