Belkin Wireless Router Settings Don't Display?

I've had my Belkin N600 wireless router now for about a year, and it runs perfectly. However, when I tried to access the router's settings today to routinely change the password, the page wouldn't load.

''router''

Or..

192.168.2.1

Are what I usually enter into the address bar, but it fails to load each and every time. I've tried resetting the router and setting up the Belkin software on my desktop once again, but to no avail, the page just will not load.

I assumed it might be server instability on Belkin's end, but that's presuming the page is hosted by them. Would anyone know if this is an issue with Belkin, or something with me?

Update:

Cindi, that's all pointless. I know how to do all that, but to be able to do all that you first need to be able to access the router's settings via its default IP, which won't load in my browser for some reason.

MarianasTrench; my desktop PC is connected with an Ethernet cable by default, the router is just the intermediary between my modem and my desktop, but I would like to be able to use my mobile devices that all rely on the wireless router's ability. Since I can't access the router's settings, I can't change the password.
