Some of my family will be down in October for a visit. My husband, son, and I live in San Diego CA and would love to take them out to SeaWorld, the Wild Animal Park, and the San Diego Zoo while they are here.
However, there will be 4 adults and 6 kids coming for a visit, and while they will have money with them, I doubt we can afford to pay the outrageous prices listed online... for god sakes the Zoo alone will want 500$ for all of us. That is also just the admission price, just to walk in the gate!
I have found the 3-4-1 passes. 5 days unlimited access to all three places, but that still comes out to 1,500$ for all of us, again just for the tickets!
I remember when you could buy a membership to these places and pay like 50$ for all year, and they would give you like 5 free passes for signing up!
Does anyone know of any deals I could find that are a bit better than what Ive found so far?
Thanks a bunch!
Oh there will be 6 adults, 4 kids 10+, and 3 kids under 10
Thanks for any help

Sometimes you can get deals at craigslist or on ebay. Especially zoo: when you buy membership, you get a free entry ticket. People will sell these if they don't need it.
My other suggestion is to do things that are free or not as expensive:
go to beach, balboa park, old town, walk around Seaport Village. Bring picnic lunches so you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to feed everyone. See here for more details:

Walk around Balboa Park and combine it with a free Organ pavilion show (Sundays)

Walk around Old Town (very colorful and culturally interesting with the Mexican influence) and then have a picnic at Presidio Park

Do the planetarium show (not free) followed by stargazing (which is free)

Entertainment coupons are having a clearance for coupons that end Nov. 2009. Maybe you can buy 2 San Deigo Entertainment book for under $10 and they might have buy one get one free.
no longer all cabs are sedans. Many are 7-9 passenger autos. you're thinking of project Bay Park. yet you additionally can hit SeaWorld. Ask for a van cab and circulate the place you opt to circulate.
