So I went to the dentist today and I got these small rubber bands put on my teeth in a triangle form on my left side and the same thing on my otherside I can only open my mouth 1 cm mabey less why is it so tight? Will it get looser? Also my dentist said to keep them on all the time and to eat with them on but I can barely open my mouth how am I going to eat with them on? 😫. They are tight because you aren't use to them and they might be tight for a little while until your teeth move like they should and yes, they will get looser :) I would suggest to take them out when you eat. As long as you don't take hours to eat, they will be fine and you can put them back in afterwards :) Good luck!
