My new Alias isn't too messed up, but the few minor issues bug me. The main wallpaper is constantly going back to default, my ring tones change randomly, and no matter how many times I set one of my sounds as a ring tone--it doesn't work. I'm not necessarily saying that I should totally replace my phone, but I want to know what you think on the matter...? Um, thanks. Broken Samsung Alias

My new Alias isn't too messed up, but the few minor issues bug me. The main wallpaper is constantly going back to default, my ring tones change randomly, and no matter how many times I set one of my sounds as a ring tone--it doesn't work.

omg i have the samsung alias and it did the same thing! i thought it was like a bug in the hardware, but it turns out that i got some water in it. The guy at circuit city ( where i go for verizon) told me that if you have a samsung alias, you should NEVER have it in the bathroom while you take a shower....the steam/vapor or whatever you want to call it gets in through all the buttons, the rim around the hinge, and the back. i really dislike the alias. i thought it was a good idea but it sucks. But your phone probably won't get better, mine wuz permanently damaged and i paid $50 for a new one. My contract just started a couple ofmonths ago so im going to pay 500 bucks to get a voyager. But to answer your question, you will probably need a replacement. I hope I helped!
