I recently found a brown recluse spider, and I don't know if I was bitten. So far I feel nothing. I have only found bug bites and no spider bites. Sadly, I killed the spider before doing more research upon it. It was while I was changing bed sheets; the spider was on a stuffed bear. My younger cousin found it and I killed it immediately. It looked just like the one in the pictures and it was not yellowish. However, I live in Southern California and the brown recluse spider.
What was it?
Was it the brown recluse?
What do I do?

Just pay close attention to your body and any bug bites you may have. If you start to notice any areas of itching, redness, swelling or pain then see your health care provider. Beware of anything that may start out as a small pimple and grow into an abscess. If bitten the area would start small and then grow larger and more painful.
No, I live in Southern Cali too and we don't have brown recluses here... so, i wouldn't worry about it too much and if you feel fine and you see no markings you probably weren't bit.
