I feel you should be compensated, ring up BT and also write to them saying you expect compensation,either a reduced bill or waither the standing charge,state this was because of BT workmen doing work outside,dont let them get away with it,failing that, go to the consumer programmes,they do work
Yes, they are charging for a service and not supplying it. The usual thing to do these days is to route your calls to your mobile phone. They usually route out going calls from your mobile at land line rates too.
Definetely you should be compensated. Just ring up BT Customer service and explain the issue and they will give you money back. Thats your consumer rights and it does not affects your statutory rights.
as long as you are paying your line rental to bt, call the faults department on 151, if its more than 3 days, which this is they will compensate you for all 7 days. if paying rental to another company you have to ask them to seeif they will compensate you.
