Hi,

I am tryin to replace the surrounds on a pair of Sony monitors. I think they have 4.5inch speakers. They are at my other house so doing that from memory. Anyway I know they have rubber surrounds, but I can't seem to find anyplace selling butyl surround kits. Can anyone post some urls. The only site I found had 8 to 15s. They're has to be someplace selling them, with all the jbls and mackinaw using them.

I realize I can grab a new pair of speakers, but im in college... so poor lol. I was hoping to drop like 30+shipping on the surrounds. I also really like the sound of these speakers and prefer a passive set for this system. I already have plenty of glue so thats not that big of a deal, I am repairing a pair of JBL lsr2300 at the same time, just cant seem to find a good supplier. I guess it isn't to common to be replacing them yet?

Aso, upon further inspection I am not 100% sure the surrounds on these speakers are butyl. They are definitely not foam, but seem like a thinner more flexible rubber material which have started to develop creases when the woofer tries to push a lot of air. (I dont think the cone is perfectly aligned)
