When I was about 9 years old I had my first seizure. later I started getting them more frequently. no one believed that I was having seizure's until I had one in front of my parents. but by that time they were getting very serious. I would have them in my sleep. which was one of the first ones that sent me to the hospital and also the first one i didn't wake up from. with every seizure I had, they would get worst and finally my parents found a medication that worked and a way to control my emotions so they wouldn't trigger one.
I have been taken off the medication because I don't have seizures anymore. the most I'll have are terrible head aches or muscle spasms. I'm 17 now and that was about 2 years ago. I have been worrying that they might come back...
Can a seizure disorder return?

In most cases, childhood epilepsy does not return, but it can.
I'm under the impression that stress is usually the primary trigger if it does return.
