Being over weight hinders conception more then anything, but not miscarriages. It's usually something else that is going on that caused the miscarriages, Have you been tested for Diabetes, checked to see if your cervix is ok or that you ovulate normally etc, Been tested for PCOS? I have pcos and from my own experience and from others pcos is often the number one reason for miscarriages in overweight women. I should know I've had 15 m/c's alone due to pcos (not including the few chemical pg's I had too). Maybe metformin will be beneficial for you to take, it lowers miscarriage rates greatly (again I shuld know it saved 2pg's for me and now I have 2 beautiful girls, and ttc #3 now). Good Luck and all the best.
I wouldn't think so but if you keep having miscarriages, you need to be checked for why you keep having them. You may have an incompetent cervix or you might not be producing enough hormone on your own to sustain the pregnancy. You should see a specialist before you try again to be on the safe side, a high risk doctor instead of a regular ob/gyn.
STRESS, YES!!!!!!!!! Being overweight NO. Stay as less stressed out as possible. Laugh and enjoy life!!! Try watching your sugar intake and salt. Talk to your Dr. about Preeclampsia and make sure your not at risk. Keep a check on your blood pressure. GOOD LUCK!
Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/yGuSc
A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.
Overweight women have a higher risk for miscarriages but I know many women, myself included who have extra pounds but had perfectly healthy babies. You might want to ask your doctor to test you for other possibilities of why you aren't going full term. Good Luck :)
No by itself. Have you been checked for diabetes? My sister had 3 miscarriages before her idiot doctor checked her, even though we have a family history of it. Blood sugars, if not controlled, can cause miscarriage, still birth and premature birth
Oh no honey. Don't blame yourself for the loss of your wee ones. You will feel better and conceive easier if you get a little more into shape but it is not your fault that your little angels didn't make it here. I think you really need to talk to someone because it is not healthy for you to be feeling so bad about yourself.
Obesity during pregnancy increases the risk of miscarriage. The mother has a higher chance of high blood pressure and gestational diabetes. Obesity can also complicate labor and delivery. Obese women are more likely to have children with birth defects.
