well today my hamster went missing cuz it some how escaped from the cage and i found it the very same day in the kitchen but i am scared that it might have eaten some posion that was used to kill bugs that my mom left out.well when i caught it it wasnt afraid but was trying to get away. when i let it go on the table it scurried around lik crazy i was just wonderin if it might have eaten some thing it shouldnt have

Will your hamster die from eating something while it was on the lam? The possibility exists.
I don't know what kind of bug poisoning she put out and whether the hamster would find it appetizing or whether it would be in enough quantity to cause irrepairable harm.
As others said, just keep an eye on it and if you notice lethargy, change in appetite or thirst or any signs of illness take it to the vet and tell them you think it might have ingested something while 'on walkabout'.
When hamsters are beginning to die shouldnt they lay on their side? and please dont scare yourself out.. if u think it may have eaten some posion just go to the vet to check it out or something. When my guinea pig just runs outside in my garden, when i pick it up and put him into his cage he starts running around because maybe its just feels like runnning to adjust to a smaller area like my gardens big.
Yes. there is a possibility the hamster ate poison and could die. please take the hamster to the vet on an emergency visit and hope for the best! if you are a person of faith. you should start praying NOW. good luck
If he did eat some bug poison he will be a bit sick and hopefully will not die. Just keep an eye on him, make sure he has plenty of fresh water...bug poisons will dehydrate him.
when i was little my cat knocked over my mouse cage when we were away for a few hours well twice. the first time my mice were missing for a few days then we found both of them alive. they were doing pretty good. the second time Dalmation was in my closet and we found him but spot stayed out for a long time and he kinda died, but dalmation lived for like four years probally 2 after that. my point is hopefully it will be fine.
Your best bet is to see if it survives the day and night, just give it loads of water, favorite food and just keep it quiet, if it did eat something it's natural immune system could be strong enough to keep the poison at bay.
Well, it is just a hamster so yes, it can die. If you mean can the bug poison kill it...well, yes, but only if he ate it. And he may not have. So...pray.
