...if your parents were born in China, immigrated to the US and had you here? Someone told me yes and that they have it, and some say China does not allow that.
I also heard that if you were a Chinese citizen, immigrated here but still go back to China once in a while (1x per yr??) you can maintain citizenship (or was it a certain status?) there as well without losing American citizenship.
What is true??

The USA is very flexible on dual citizenship for the most part, unless you join the military or work for the Federal Govt.
Now since your parents are from Mainland China, and you were born here, the laws in China State that you are a Citizen of China until you reach 21 and then you have to chose between your American or Chinese Citizenship. This is true for most Asian nations too.
