Can you get uglier with puberty?
I mean, girls used to tell me that I was very attractive when I was 15. Now at 18, girls dont do that as much. They also used to stare at me in the street, but now that happens way less often. I don't know what happened. My face dindn't change that much, I mean it is a bit more defined and masculine, with a stronger jawline and more proeminant nose but other than that it looks very much alike. It seems "older" and thats pretty much it. I really don't know whats going on...

Because girls really don't care. Don't flatter yourself and think you need girls to look at you all the time. People get stressed at 18. Time for college, tests, SAT, ACT, all that jazz
Yes. It is actually true. When you hit puberty you get acne, your nose gets bigger, facial hair grows (in boys, on girls maybe the eyebrows) etc.. Your body simply changes. Puberty is a transition state between childhood and adult stage. You are changing to become an adult. I remember when I was 12 years old (still not on puberty) a lot of girls liked me. I was the most handsome boy in school, and etc, but when I ran into puberty a lot of attention went off. I felt bad with myself, when I walked in the mall no girls stared at me. But now I am 17, I believe I am past puberty, and girls have been seeking me even more than before. I have many secret admirers and a girlfriend. I feel more confident about myself. Puberty is all about hormones, it messes up with your body a lot.
The key thing is to remember that with puberty, it's not you that's changing. Maybe it's them. They may not feel as compelled to compliment you because they are much more mature and don't think going around telling every girl they see is pretty is a "cool" thing to do. This should not discourage you. You are most likely very attractive, just don't let it bother you, and don't go out their searching for more attention, because that may lead to some unwanted consequences.
well I'm a girl who is 15 right now. people said i looked really ugly before. I'm currently on puberty and people said i look totally different and so pretty now...which was not nice of them to say that I was ugly in the past. My face got less pimple and stuff and also my face shape looks different and chubby too

confident, however the priority that makes us "uglier" whilst we are dealing with puberty is many times pimples. Braces is in the attention of the beholder. are you able to get sparkling ones, in all probability in case you do unlike them? or maybe white rubber bands might combination them into your the teeth greater desirable... as quickly as you hit your early Nineteen Twenties you will get "particularly" returned, believe me.
