I would like a good audio setup for under $1000 with subs, an amp, and some 6" speakers. Try not to go crazy with the price if you can put some links of a good setup for $500 that would be great I would like the most quality for my money. I don't want to be paying $300 extra for 1 decibel extra.
Update:I was being sarcastic in the last sentence for those of you who didn't know lol

Pioneer DEH-1300MP CD Receiver with MP3/WMA Playback and Remote Control is a great receiver, especially for the price.I hardly ever switch it off these days.It even survived a speaker mis-wiring that resulted in the receiver getting so hot that it shut itself down and now that the speakers are connected correctly performs flawlessly.
lol 300$ for 1 db extra, it's more like 30,000 watts will get you 155db, and another 1000$ will get you 155.3db, sounds real expensive. I'm talking vacuum sucking the air out of the ride and sealing every seam and crack. But that's hitting the loudest in the world which I think is 191.2db or something.
I've got a perfect system for you though. I'm talking ultimate BANG for under 1000$ if you have the room. (They changed it up since I went last, and they had 15's but now only 12's, they changed the amp from an RE Audio amp to a Kicker ZX 1000.1 and the price went up 100$.) This is a bass package, everything you need for installation is here.

They also have just the subs, I would go with the 15's for 200$ each, I'd build a custom ported box, 3 - 4 feet per chamber, with 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate amp.
The 12's are 175 and 150$ each.
The website in the link is VERY trusted, I buy all the time, browse around there, they have the cheapest prices I've seen for brand new audio accessories. Guarantee you'll find you something good. Just try and get as close to your maximum spending limit. You get your bang for your buck. Try not to spend alot and you might be un satisfied.
Good luck.
