What is wrong with my stereo when the CD thingy comes up saying 'NO DISC'.
Have checked the troubleshooting page on the manual to no avail.
Yes I have the CD's in the right way, CD's not scratched etc and there is no condensation around.
Even pulled it apart to check for dust etc – there is none.
Any ideas?
Can it be fixed cheaply or is it not worth it.
Update:It says NO DISC with real bought CD's and copied ones. - it plays nothing.
Won't even read the CD Laser cleaner disc ...

check the laser lens for blockage, once found as loose screw on mine, don't touch it tho, use a magnet
That's happened to me before, but usually when I've created the CD and it wasn't formatted properly to play, or some CD players aren't configured to accept burned CDs. Is it happening with commercially manufactured CDs? If it is, and the player wasn't all that expensive, it will probably be cheaper to replace the player.
