Whenever I read about schizophrenia, people's voices are always just a "voice", without a name or personality. All of mine have names and a personality that I did not give them. There's 10 of them (Akuma, Mr. Invisable, Gavin, Lea, Mechie, Spencer, Tamper, Derk, and two other who won't tell me their names) and they all have personalities. Sometimes they get mad at each other too, like in Germany. They'll have short conversations, but they usually talk to me, but it seems like they're all aware of each other.
Is voices with personalities and names a characteristic of schizophrenia?

I'm schizoaffective, (which is like a mix of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder) and all my voices have personalities (although I only have 4) but none of them have told me their names though, I've just lablled them according to their chracteristics like angry man etc. And everyone else i've talked to who have voices they tend to have personalities as well so I think it is characteristic. Best of luck to you!
I am really sure there are a couple other Multiple Personality disorders that go handnhand with Schizophrenia that make it even more fun. And I happen to know that Personality Disorders never come alone, there are almost always more than just one.
Yeah that would be the same thing. Halucinations of any kind could be schizophrenia.
