How can somebody press email harassment charges against you if you have not threatened them ? you just scared them because you new too much about them ? not only that they lived in your neighborhood & you already new about them, but they did not know that ? now there making false accusations that I researched there life etc. ! My Lawyer has never heard of this & says it is a waste of time/money ! - All I did was be on classmates.com & communicate w/ the wrong person !! they get offended on what I had said about an old classmate (who lived in my neighborhood) they call them up and tell them ! they freak out and run to make a police report ! - acting like I am a really bad person ! now email har. charges have been charged against me, what would you do or think will happen about this ?

I'd drop it and leave it to my lawyer to handle; every attempt to contact and fix makes it worse.
it's still a new part of the law, but ever since that poor girl hanged herself, email harrassment has been taken more seriously over the past couple of years....my advice would be to stop doing what you're doing, even if you feel it's not harmful to the other party. And yes, you absolutely can be charged with email harassment, if they can prove that it came from your computer you could be prosecuted for it.
send an appology to them via your lawyer and if that doesn't work then you did everything you can let your lawyer take it from there
