If you are saying that you got converse as your running shoes, then I would say that unfortunately...they are not the best choice. Even if you are walking around a lot, converse are not very good shoes due to the fact that there is very little cushioning and very little support, which will hurt your legs (knees, ankles), hips, and back in the long run. It really sucks, I know, but that $100-$150 you can spend on running shoes is actually really worth it, not just a ripoff. The money you spend on a good pair of shoes is money you'll save in doctor's bills and more pairs of shoes (running shoes will last longer) later on in life. Good luck! :)
