basically i have to write a report on the 3 above and im really struggling the report is meant to be focused on the structures and bonding of the 3 any help/pointers would be great.Thanks!

Well if you're supposed to be focused on structures and bonding, you will need to discuss:
the chemical properties of Na, and Cl separately
the chemical properties of NaCl itself
The group characteristics of group 1 (Na) and Group 7 halogens (Cl)
The ionic charges of Na and Cl
Valence structure
Electron configuration
Electron shell configuration and order, how shells fill, Hund's rule
Lewis structure
Octet rule
......
That's all I can think of at the moment... Anyone else come up with something?
