My doc prescribed me two tablespoons every 6 hrs for my cough. I think its to much, it knocked me out for the next 12 hours lol. So take 1 tablespoon and see if that helps, if not after 15 mins take another one.

BTW you should never take medicine that isnt prescribed to you because it could interact with other medications and cause serious problems.
