About 2 weeks ago my dad went on my computer and he reckons he only went on google and his email and that my screen was fine, but then he turned it off. I turned it on the next morning and the writing was huge as were the pictures etc. It had happened before due to games, so I went to the display settings and changed the resolution, yet out of all the resolutions that worked, only one was clear yet the screen is still stretched and not how it used to be. It also went back to Vista Basic and wouldn't change back the aero until I restarted the computer, but that has been fine since. Any ideas what has caused this and how it can be sorted out?

it's a resolution problem, right click on your background, select personalize, and select the bottom option and slide the resolution to the right to make things smaller, to the left to make them bigger
