Cramping And Brown Discharge?
Im 22 weeks pregnant with my frist pregnancy. I started having cramping on saturday morning on and off all day thru sunday and some this morning. It feels like period cramps..Like my period could come on any moment. Then this morning I went to the bathroom and wiped and had some brown discharge. Is this something I should be worrying about. Has any other woman had this happen during 5 1/2 months. I called my doctor I am waiting on a return call from him to tell me what I should do. So I thought while I wait get some advice or some stories.. I hope my baby is ok..

i'm sure brown discharge is normal. It may be preterm labor but im not sure. I hope everything turns out ok for you! goodluck
You better go visit your doctor. Brown discharge are oxidised blood from upper part of the vaginal, I think your doctor will probably give a jab, some tablets, and ask you to rest in bed for a week or 2, no carrying of heavy things, big movements. Shouldn't be much of a problem just need plenty of rest
well you are a long way into your pregnancy i doubt anything is wrong. i just had a miscarrage at 5 1/2 wks and it started out with brown discharge and then pink then red. and i miscarried but who knows. i wish you the best of luck.
I'm 31 weeks pregnant with my second and I personally have never experienced this. It doesn't sound very good though. I think you should go to the ER to get checked just to be sure you and the baby are okay.
Well, I am glad to hear that you have called your doctor. From the sounds of it, you may be in preterm labor. Or you could be having braxton-hicks contractions. But anythime you are having cramping or any kind of discharge it is best to check with your doc. Best wishes to you!
Elevate your feet, and try to relax while you wait for the Dr to call you back. It is probably nothing (lots of women experience it), but any sign of bleeding is not a good sign. Your Dr. can tell you better than any of us what is going on.
you need to get this checked out fast hunny ...i had same thing at about four and a half months with my first baby it was like a small show but docs kept in hospital for a few hours to keep eye on myself and baby ...they were worried i was going into premuture labour ..

I was told that red discharge is dangerous. Brown could be from many things (sex). If you are worried, go to the ER.
well, if your discharge is brown, it was probably from some rough sex, or some stenuous lifting/ activities/// dont worry, its old blood, that somehow worked its way down the track.. just take er easy, and dont worry about it.. good luck on your pregnancy.. you will be just fine
It could be a sign of your baby being in distress and thus pooping and then your water breaking. its a very bad thing. You should go to the hospital now.
