Ok, so I'm a 15 year old chick who's a Freshmore (Freshmen/Sophomore) in High School. I would like to become a Crime Scene Investigator. It seems like a really interesting job in my opinion. My problem is deciding on wither the be a Crime Scene Examiner, or Crime Scene Photographer. I know being a CSI you need to be able to take pictures of the evidence before you examine/touch it, but isn't there a profession where you mostly take pictures? I need to know what classes to take in High School, and College. I know that there will have to be a lot of Science/Biology though. So is the job really as good as it seems to be? Do you get a good salary and benefits? What classes do I need to take? Please help me out. thanks so much.

requirements might vary state to state and for different counties. your going to have to be poke around more and see for which department you want to work for, police, sheriff, state etc.. they all have there own jurisdictions

I think you have been watching too much television. The CSI shows have over-glamorized the careers. Generally, photographers have to be on call 24 hours a day. Most cities do not have enough need to justify such a position.
You should try contacting the city police and county sheriff departments where you live. Most police departments rely on state crime labs to examine evidence. The people in the labs only get to go outside when they are done working for the day.
Yes, science is your friend. Also, languages. Languages may not seem applicable but they help in any job.
You also need to decide what part you want to do, CSI or detective. Forget anything you've seen about CSI's on TV. They don't carry guns, they don't make arrests, they don't really investigate anything. They just do the tedious grunt work in a crime scene for the detectives.
The detective is the actual police officer who does the investigating.
