Diamond Ranch Academy is a therapeutic boarding school out in the desert near Hurricane, Utah.

I have not heard that anyone entered this school voluntary and the state of Idaho gave the founders such a hard time that they moved to Utah. I would certainly ask the Idaho official what they found odd before enrolling one of my children at the school.

The campus was previous owned by another school where a girl died. There are plenty of rocks in the area where people can fall and die. In fact a boy died at Diamond Ranch Academy January 10 this year and according to the messages at the obituary there is no reason for his death so far.

The owner was used as a consultant in relationship with the TV-series "Higher Grounds", which played some years ago.

They use a kind of level system where the teenagers have to give some confessions from their past to move forward in the program. They have an internal job-structure and when the teenagers fight the program they are named "unemployed" and forced to pull a cart around the campus all day.
