I have bottom retainers too, and if you would have swallowed them you would know. lol. Just look all around your house, maybe you left them in the box in the bathroom or something.

You guys are all wrong. It is definitely possible and highly likely that you swallowed your retainer. BEWARE!! If you don't get it surgically removed in the next 15 minutes, it will scrape up your intestines!!!! A good way to do this yourself if you can't get to a doctor would be to drink lots and lots of soda to try to dissintegrate it in your stomach. Otherwise, x x

u can never have swallowed a retainer cause it is quite big and if u swallowed a retainer,u should know cause u will get chocked by it(if it is a big one)and u would not have even written this question if u swallowed it.maybe while u were sleeping,it dropped into a small gap somewhere u never know! just go and get another one i guess

Maybe. I almost did that myself, but it woke me up, before i actually swallowed it.

They're pretty big, compared to the size of your throat. Think about how hard it is to swallow large pills sometimes.

Try looking in pillow cases, or behind the head of the bed.

If not, go see a doctor maybe?

That happened to my friend before. She would always remove her retainers in her sleep. But she'd find it somewhere on her bed in the morning. You probably removed it in your sleep too. It must be laying around somewhere. And no, you could NOT have swallowed it. It's too big to be swallowed and you would have chocked. Hope you find it.

lol...If you swallowed your retainer, you'd be dead. You would have choked to death. Look under your bed and in your sheets. Maybe you didn't sleep with it in but you thought you did. Good luck
