Ok like last week me lil sis crashed into a tree while she was sledding. Today she can move it but she says it hurts when she touches it. So is it broken?
If pain continues and especially if there is swelling around it, very likely there is hidden damage inside. Sometimes pain comes from minor fractures, bone chips or just dislocations. The only way to really know is to do an x-ray or scan of the area. Generally if the pain is not too intense and comes only when she moves her hand or wrist, it may simply be an internal bone splinter that can heal on it's own if stabilized for awhile. But if there is major pain or continuing multiple problems, go have it checked out.
