Update:So what should i start working on, dual citizenship or filipino recognition.. and that it would be done before Feb 2010.
* I have overstayed here 7 years but dont have enough to pay the penalty..please help

You can have dual citizenship as long as the 2nd (or subsequent country does not require you to renounce your US citizenship)
The US allows and accepts dual citizenship. Please do not listen to people who say otherwise.
