I am hoping to buy the HTC Sensation XE for my brother's birthday. He's really into his music and has a lot of it, and since he needs a new phone and iPod, I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. He needs a lot of storage space for all his music, so I was thinking of buying the Sandisk 64gb microsd card to boost the memory. I know the Sensation XE will hold microSDHC cards, but they only go up to 32gb- are microSDXC cards the same physical size?
Thanks in advance for any answers!
Update:Following the first answer (which was very useful! :D) does anyone know if the Sensation XE is XC compatible? Or will I have to ask someone at HTC/Carphone Warehouse?

They are the same physical size and connections, but have yet another address scheme to access more capacity. You need a device XC capable.
What I have done (before I got a big enough card for my MP3 player), was have my media software (MediaMonkey), sync a random set of tracks to the player to fit.
