after reading today that Smith planned ahead and rested Thompson so he wanot gonna miss the Old Firm through suspension, surely Strachan should have done the same with McGeady?
it wasnt a game that the best players would have been needed (i know they lost it, but caley arent classed as one of the better sides)
Update:Angie, iv no really saw much of Rangers as iv been gone but from what i did see i thought Ferguson and Thompson show good understanding so i agree with you on his effectiveness
i also think that some fans dont value him as much and are disappointed because signing him, was 'meant' to be a catalyst for Scott Brown to go to Ibrox, but it didnt turn out as such?

I think Strachan was a great footballer but when it comes to management he doesn't have the same pedigree in comparison. The Celtic fans seem happy with him so who I'm i to judge i don't support Celtic but i do think that he may have shot himself in the foot over this one.
I think Gordon was right to play Aiden the points were important. Aiden only has himself to blame he should have kept quiet. For a team that's not classed as a"one of the better sides" they frequently give us a very hard game...
for once must agree with chas
thompson is pish. overated and not rangers quality. he'd be better off at celtic
utter nonsense.mcgeady got booked for dissent.if he knew that,he should have shut it.kevin,i will repeat that, kevin, yes kevin thompson rested, hahahaha.he is utterly overrated, even struthie will admit that.glad hes going to play against us
after we all know what the score is ...they should have rested the friggin lot of them
