It's perfectly normal, it's just your vagina cleaning itself out.

You'll get discharge anywhere from 8 - 24 months before your first period. Maybe even less or more.

For now, tell your mom and ask to go get some pantiliners. This way, any discharge will get on the pantiliner, and not on your underwear. Pantiliners are like a very thin pad, and have light absorbency and are meant for discharge. You should probably change it about twice a day. They're fairly cheap; i'd try carefree liners or always dri-liners. Both work well.

That is completely normal! You will get vaginal dishcharge before your period and during your period. Im the same age as you and i just got my period and i have little yellow stains in my underwear, so just wear a panty liner and change it ever 2-4 hours, or else you will start to smell bad. If your dishcharge is dark yellow, please inform your mom or docter, because that means you could have an infection. But otheer than that if you have all signs of getting your period than you will be getting your period soon, but you never know!

Yes that sounds like discharge to me, and yes it does smell a bit! When it starts getting heavier it could be a sign your period is going to start although a lot of people generally get other signs such as stomach cramps. yeah, i had that for about 2 and half years before i started my first period, and im 13! so thats normal, it just means your vagina is cleaning itself out. and sweetheart, this is the womans health section, nothing is TMI lol! anyways if it stinks bad, it could be an infection because the discharge shouldnt have an odor.

discharges lasts like a year before your period. i would suggest changing your underwear twice a day.
