When you have joint custody meaning he has them one week i have them the next ...so on. does he have to pay child support? and can I still get child care assistance. I am in Kentucky

NO, you are not entitled to child support, however, the child care should be split equally between the two of you. He should pay on the weeks that he has them and vice versa.
The court may order child support - it happens all the time here in NV. I don't know about Kentucky.
No one HAS to do anything they don't want to. You should be thankful a man wanted you enough to reproduce with you. Not every woman is so lucky. Just go get a job cause you don't need a man.
